Yandex Weather is a separate application that installs widgets on your smartphone's home screen and notification panel, allowing you to constantly monitor the weather conditions in your current location or a specified location. The widgets stylistically resemble the desktop version, so there's no need to get used to a new interface. It utilizes the Meteum 2.0 technology (machine intelligence that extrapolates the general weather forecast in a specific area of the map into a forecast for a specific point, based on data from numerous weather devices on the ground and in space, as well as feedback from application users to refine the current weather situation).
The temperature readings for the current time are always visible in the status bar. When opening the notification panel (shade), a brief weather overview is displayed. By clicking on the overview, a full window opens with detailed current weather conditions in the selected location, a mini precipitation map, a panel with a short-term forecast for the week, a short-term forecast for tomorrow, and a feedback window. Below is a forecast for 10 days, a more detailed precipitation map, and a line for viewing the monthly forecast.
A fully functional domestic weather widget without annoying drawbacks. Fully compatible with the Yandex ecosystem. Access to current information is simple and convenient. The forecast can be obtained for the day, week, 10 days, and month. The precipitation map visually shows the type and amount of precipitation in real time and for the near future. The application also provides the opportunity for users to contribute to improving the forecast through Meteum 2.0 technology.
