You, controlling the main character named Sam Porter Bridge, who will deliver important cargo to different points of the post-apocalyptic world. In the relatively near future, Earth was covered by another global cataclysm called Death Stranding.
The netherworld of the dead began its assault on the world of the living. Hordes of evil monsters descended upon the Earth, turning cities and countries into ruins. The United States was completely destroyed, and small groups of survivors and miraculously survivors are hiding in dungeons and bomb shelters.

Humans have to adapt, burning their dead counterparts before they are cursed, hiding in bunkers and depending on corporations to deliver food and medicine. Products that 3D printers cannot replicate and duplicate.

Death Stranding defies convention by focusing on the connection between people and events rather than the combat system and almost getting rid of the notion of restarting a mission when something goes wrong.

A unique sociocultural experience

Death Stranding allows you to play both single-player, introducing you to the narrative in an open world, and also has an asynchronous multiplayer mode.

From a more global perspective, everything is imbued with a strong dynamic of frustration and reward, the game regularly reminding us that players, are in a process that is both social, tragic and fun, the key theme of which is mutual help between people.
