It is a prequel to the second installment released in 2010 and the third project in the Red Dead series. It is set in a western setting with an open world.

The events of Red Dead Redemption 2 take place in 1899 when the Van Der Linde gang, due to forced circumstances and to elude authorities, changes the location of their camp. The funds of the gang are in the city of Blackwater, which they won't be able to retrieve anytime soon, so they decide to make a big profit by robbing a train. The robbery is successful, but the train's owner hires agents to track them down. The player takes on the role of one of the gang members named Arthur Morgan.

The single-player campaign consists of linear scenarios in an open world, presented as various quests of different duration and complexity. The story quests are completed in a strict sequence, while side missions are scattered throughout the world and can be completed at any time or completely ignored.

Like GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 was a huge success. At launch, the project brought in over $700 million in three days, and the total number of game copies sold exceeded 30 million. The game received over 30 different awards from various publications and organizations, including "Best Story," "Game of the Year," and "Best Graphics."

Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous

An isometric RPG set in the universe of the Pathfinder tabletop game by the Russian studio Owlcat Games. The funds for the development of Pathfinder: Kingmaker were raised on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, raising over $900,000 in total. The sequel, Wrath of the Righteous, was released in 2019.

The game's events take place in the kingdom of Mendev, which has been fighting the Worldwound - a rift in magic that allows demons from the Abyss to enter the realm - for many years. As in any open-world game, the surroundings can be explored. The world consists of six zones, each of which is ruled by one of the demigods. The game allows both linear progression, as intended by the developers, and free exploration according to the player's choice.

Fallout 4

An open-world action/RPG from the American company Bethesda Softworks. It is the fourth numbered part in the Fallout series. The game was not as warmly received by critics and players as Fallout 3, but many noted that it is not lacking in interesting and new elements, has good graphics, and an engaging story.

The game's events take place in 2077. The main character and their infant child hurriedly head to "Vault 111" due to the threat of nuclear bombings. In the vault, they enter cryogenic sleep. After awakening, the heroes are attacked, and one of the spouses is killed, and their child is taken away. The main character goes back into cryogenic sleep and wakes up in 2287.

The gameplay of Fallout 4 is similar to the previous installment. The player can engage in combat with monsters, craft items, and explore the world. A notable addition in the fourth part is the ability to build bases, defensive structures, and outposts.

Detroit: Become Human

An adventure game with elements of Full Motion Video from the French studio Quantic Dream. FMV games appeared back in the 80s, but the French studio has managed to integrate the elements of this genre seamlessly into adventure and action games. Originally, Detroit: Become Human was released on PS4, but after 3 years, it was decided to release the project on PC.

The game's storyline unfolds in the near future. By 2038, thanks to technological advances, human-like robots called androids have been created to assist humans in various fields. Humanity is facing global overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, and emerging military conflicts between nations as a result.

During the game's development, the developers relied as much as possible on existing reality and tried to develop the technologies laid down in our time. The game does not delve into science fiction speculation about the future but rather attempts to correlate with our reality.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

A survival horror game from the Japanese company Capcom. It is a remake of the second part of Resident Evil, which was released in 1998 for the original PlayStation. The game has been completely transferred to a modern game engine with a change in the game camera. In the original, the camera was fixed on the scene, while in the remake, we observe the character from a third-person perspective.

The story campaign is divided into two stages. At the beginning of the game, players can choose one of the main characters, and the second stage will be played with the remaining character. The gameplay for both characters does not differ much from each other. The story in Resident Evil 2 Remake is delivered through gameplay scenes and textual information within the game.

The events of the game take place in the fall of 1998 in Raccoon City, where almost the entire population has turned into zombies as a result of a dangerous and rapidly spreading virus. The main characters - a police officer and a student - unexpectedly meet at a local gas station but become separated due to a subsequent accident and agree to meet at the police station.

To defeat zombies, players are offered a variety of firearms and melee weapons, as well as grenades. Weapons can be upgraded with various attachments and different types of ammunition. Throughout the game, the heroes are pursued by the boss - Tyrant. In addition to combat, the game offers various puzzles and level exploration.
