• in the main menu, the options available are: scanner, ecolabels, and about the program;
• select "Scanner" and agree to give the app access to the device's camera;
• point the camera at the area of the packaging that contains the ecolabels and take a photo;
• after loading, the app will display the ecolabels, and you can click on the icons to read a detailed explanation.

In the "Ecolabels" section in the main menu, there is a list of common symbols with explanations, including which types of products they can be found on. To make it easier, there is a search function at the top of the screen.
